Tidal Barrier

We have secured the contract with Qualter, Hall & Co Limited to supply all access and site fencing for the maintenance work on the Tidal Barrier in Hull

Qualter Hall was awarded the prestigious contract for the refurbishment of the Hull Tidal Surge Barrier, including:-

• Replacement of the Barrier operating mechanism consisting of integrated mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment.
• Refurbishment of rollers, shafts and bearings.
• Full re-painting of the barrier.
• All new equipment fully assembled and tested prior to installation on site.
• Full mock up of plant rooms built in Qualter Hall’s factory to ensure that equipment fits within the restricted space confines of the existing structure.
• Integrated functional testing carried out to prove various modes of operation and to reduce overall project risk prior to critical path installation works.
