Our rapid growth and success is based on the high level of service and very competitive prices, this coupled with an excellent safety record has seen Tilson Scaffolding Ltd grow into the very successful Scaffolding Contractor that it is today. This has also been achieved by not only expanding our customer base but also by retaining our existing customers, who continue to trust us with their scaffolding needs. It is an essential part of our ethos that the senior management positions are held by experienced scaffolders. Knowledge and experience of scaffolding is at the centre of everything we do.

History

Looking at the evolution of Tilson Scaffolding Limited explains much of the philosophy behind the success of the business.

The founder Colin Stephenson  established Tilson Scaffolding in 2005. Being a scaffolder’/manager himself for over 25 years gave him a total understanding of what it takes to operate a successful scaffolding business from the beginning.
Operations Director Philip Larvin joined Tilson Scaffolding in 2010, Philip brought a wealth of experience to the team with a background based in and around the power & petrochemical industry.
Each contract manager and supervisor is an experienced and trained scaffolder and has practical knowledge of how to do the work, and training to ensure that it can be delivered on time, on budget and without incident.

Tilson Scaffolding have an expert team of  professional and experienced surveyors, managers and scaffolders’ based in East Yorkshire, ready to assist your every need. Our work is carried out by fully trained and CISRS qualified scaffolders who must adhere to our working code of practice. We pride ourselves in upholding the highest of standards in everything we do.

All Tilson Scaffolding managers, supervisors and operatives are continuously provided with ongoing training to ensure safety measures are always met, to maximise their own potential, to give them a fulfilling career at Tilson Scaffolding and in turn provide clients with an excellent service. We can offer bespoke and innovative scaffolding and are experts in providing all aspects of access.
Our clients are extremely important to us and all members of staff are dedicated to forming open and honest relationships and this is reflected in the high amount of repeat business the company receives.

Our employees are issued with fully branded uniform to ensure they are easily recognised and looking professional and approachable at all times.
